Potato Temptations

Homemade Potatoe Chips

Here's a cool recipe my sister found on making potato chips:

Ingredients:
Salt
Skinned potatoes
Garlic Powder
Canola Oil
Spray Bottle
Paper towels


  1. Skin potatoes
  2. Put Canola Oil into spray bottle
  3. Spray oil large amount of oil onto plate
  4. Slice potatoes as thin as possible on cutting board, or, cut off about 4 centimeters of potatoes and then start skinning until you can't skin anymore.
  5. Put as many slices of potato as you can onto oiled plate positioned so that none overlap or touch each other.
  6. Spray with Canola Oil.
  7. Prepare another bowel with a folded paper towel into it
  8. Lightly sprinkle salt and garlic powder onto potato chips
  9. Microwave each plate for about one minute, or keep checking on them until they seem crisp.
  10. If they seem too oily, let paper towel soak as much oil as possible and if still not crisp, continue to microwave.
Enjoy your chips!
Note: Skinning to substitute chopping may not work.
